Lord Directs your path

 God Directs Your Steps

≠=================

“The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” (Psalms 37:23)

Beloved, God has laid out your path before you today.

O royal child of God, it’s time to leave yesterday’s worries behind for God has great things in store for you.

Let go of any regrets for the past or worries for the future. Don’t let doubt or fear blind you from seeing the beautiful path set before you.

God’s Word says that He will direct your steps. And He takes pleasure in your company every step of the way.

He’ll bless you and not curse you. He’ll set you as the head and not the tail. He’ll lift you up and not put you down.

Even if you somehow stray from the path, His rod will defend you from your enemies and His staff will guide you back on track.

Set your heart on the peace of Jesus today. For it’s often through peace (or a lack thereof) that you can tell whether or not you’re following God’s path.

God sets before you life and death, blessings and cursings. So choose life! Choose blessings!

Follow His guidance today, and all will be well.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Action Steps:

Listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Through a sense of peace and life (or the lack thereof), you’ll be able to tell where God’s leading you.

You may not be able to see the full path ahead of you, but you can be sure of the destination – life, love, blessings, righteousness, holiness, all the good things God has planned for you.

And the best part is, He’ll be with you every step of the way. To guide you, protect you, and love you.

Let’s pray…

Prayer:

Father, thank you for another new day.

Help me to follow your ways today.

For your thoughts are higher than my thoughts.

And your ways are higher than my ways.

So I choose to follow your ways today Lord.

Guide me and teach me.

Lead me back if I do stray.

Even though I may not know all the details of the path before me, I know that you’re leading me to greater and better things.

I’m excited to see what blessings you’ve planned for me today.

And whatever they are, I receive them with open arms and a thankful heart.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Jesus lives for us!

 He Lives For Us

=============

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. ” (Galatians 2:20)

He Lives! Jesus Christ, the perfect Son of God lives, even though He died for us.

His resurrection is the confirmation that all debts of sin have been paid.

There were many sacrifices made in the history of the Bible, but only one managed to fully redeem us.

For so great was this one sacrifice of Christ that it truly is finished.

All the sins, debts, sicknesses and curses have been borne by Jesus.

He willingly descended in death and yet rose up again victorious.

His resurrection is proof that you need no longer be ashamed. You need no longer be fearful. You need no longer be unloved.

For though our sins were as scarlet, we are now white as snow.

Better yet, Jesus now sits at God’s right hand, with full authority over all heaven and earth.

And He’s there not to judge you, but to intercede for you.

How can your prayers not be effectual if Jesus prays for you? How can the evil one ever hope to harm you if Jesus is fighting for you?

So rest in Jesus’ finished work today.

With Jesus, God has given you the best of the best. For when you have Jesus, you have every good thing you need in your life.

He is your wisdom. He is your strength. He is the very proof of God’s favour for you.

Let the power of His resurrection flow freely in your life today.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Father, I thank you once again for the perfect work of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Through His finished work, all our debts have been fully paid.

I receive His life today. Wherever there is death in my life today, let Jesus’ resurrection power flow through it.

For I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

I receive Him as my wisdom, my strength, my shield.

He is my all in all.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Minding His business

 Minding His Business

=================

“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs” 1 Timothy 6:10 (NIV).

Let’s talk about everyone’s favorite subject: money. Neutral, yes, but it can bring a snare to our souls. Notice, it is not money itself that is evil, but it is the LOVE of money that is evil. Jesus spoke of the deceitfulness of riches (or wealth) in the above scripture.

Padding the time sheet, withholding information about hidden costs, or failing to share the things wrong with a used car, are all too common. Trying to deceive others to make a profit is just plain wrong.

Generally, there is underlying deception in contemporary business. Some people don’t care about us, it’s all about the money.  We often get emails which say something like this:

” Free Gift”

“You have won…”

“Free marketing expertise…”

These people want us to buy their product before we get their “free gift”. These things are not free at all. Have you ever heard “if you’re not lyin’, you’re not tryin”? It is a common mantra in the business world today.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I want always to put you first in my business. I commit to work in my job with honesty and integrity. I do not yield to the pressure to go after the money first but I allow you to direct my steps. In so doing, I know that you will always meet my needs. Thank you, Lord.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Final Thoughts:

If we have received Jesus’s sacrificial death on the cross as sufficient payment for our sin, He promises to meet all our needs, so we are free to use our business in service to Him in honesty and integrity. Knowing the deceitfulness of riches will keep us on track: free from affection, pretense, simulation, falsehood, and deceit.

Hallelujah! We don’t have to hustle because He is the one who gives us the power to produce wealth. A final verse in closing:

“But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today” Deuteronomy 8:18.

Jesus paid the price to turn you towards God.

Jesus paid the price to turn you towards God.

All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6 (NKJV)

Several years ago, I began to be afraid as I looked around at the world. It appeared to be getting worse, not better. Why? Wasn’t it supposed to get better and better? And what about my life? The same thing was happening there. Though I believed it would get better and better, it was clearly worse. I had more problems, not less. The world, however, really frightened me.

Friends told me that they had been reading books on Bible prophecy. They said that the Bible told of our time and the things that were happening now. My reaction? “Give me a break! I’m concerned about reality not stuff written 2000 years ago!” But, call it curiosity or whatever you want, I read those books and some of the Bible as well. What I learned was that the Bible really did tell about the world that I live in and about the future. It even told about me.

Now I was really scared. The problem with the world and the problem with me were one and the same: We had turned our back on God’s way, and we had chosen our own way instead.

I thought my way was right, but my life was a mess. I had my own standards of right and wrong, and I kept them, most of the time. Reading the Bible and the books about prophecy showed me that my standards just didn’t matter. It was God’s standards that I would be judged by. With blazing clarity, I realized that I had blown it. I hadn’t kept God’s Word. I’d chosen my own way over His. That’s why my life was a mess. Not only was it a mess, but my rebellion against God carried an eternal death penalty.

But God, in His great love for the world, and for me, made the only way out. His Name is Jesus, He became a human being, yet without falling and without violating God’s standards, without going His own way. He was tempted at all points, yet He did not sin. He came to earth to live a perfect life and then to die in my place for my sin. He paid the death penalty. Wow!

Prayer:

“Lord, I am sorry. I did it my way. I know that Your Son paid for my sin when He died for me. I know that He rose from the grave and that You will forgive me and give me a new life with You. My life is yours, make it like You want it to be. I will live for You.”

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Final Thoughts:

Continuing, He defeated even death because three days later He rose. Not only is it a fact of history but it is a fact that is real today. To confess Him as Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead brings me from death to life. I did just that.

The life that He gave to me was more than I could have imagined at that time. I had no idea of the healing, deliverance and restoration that He would do in my life. It is only the beginning. I will belong to His kingdom forever. It is not because of anything that I am or that I have done, it is because of Him. Oh, how He loves us! If you’re like me and know that you haven’t kept His standards, your life is in a mess created only by you, and you know there is no way out except Jesus, you can come to Him just as I did. Tell Him.

Be Greatly Blessed!

FOUNTAIN OF LIFE

Fountain of Life

‘Understanding is a fountain of life to those who have it, but folly brings punishment to fools.’ Proverbs 16:22 (NIV).

For centuries people diligently sought a fountain of youth, a spring that offered eternal life and vitality. Still today people look for lotions, powders and potions that promise youthfulness, optimum health and anti-aging. And yet the Bible offers something more substantial and lasting. God’s wisdom is a fountain of life that can make a person happy, healthy, and alive forever.

When we live by God’s Word, he washes away the deadly effects of sin. Titus 3:5-7 says that ‘He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.’ The hope of eternal life with Him gives us a joyful perspective on our present life. This fountain of life not only keeps and preserves us from all evil in this life but offers the promise of wholeness and health into eternity.

The fountain of youth is a fallacy, but the fountain of life is a reality, that is attainable for all who desire to put their trust in Jesus Christ. This fountain of life is a vivid image that gives us the impression of fresh, cool, life-giving water for all who are spiritually thirsty. Jesus Himself is this fountain of life who can quench our thirst forever and offer us eternal life (John 4:14).

Prayer:

‘Lord, I come to you because I am weary and worn out. I am thirsty for a life with you. Forgive me for looking elsewhere for the rest, refreshment and joy that you alone offer. Thank you.’

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN

Final Thoughts:

Perhaps we find ourselves in a place of spiritual seeking, thirsting for more than this world has to offer. Perhaps we feel dry, tired and restless for a hope that will last beyond the latest fad of our culture. Come to Jesus the source of living water. He promises to give us true rest and refreshment. When we find the fountain of life, we will never thirst again.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Walking in Flesh or Spirit?

WALKING IN FLESH OR SPIRIT

1 THESSALONIANS0

5: 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray to God that your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(God wants wholeness in our spirit, soul and body).

2               HEBREWS 4:12

For the word of God is alive, and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joints and marrow. It exposes our inner most desires.

(The word of God divides spirit, soul and body).

3               We studied that we are Spirit , Soul and Body and let us study how they function

             OUR SPIRIT:

·      Our spirit relates upward to God and aware of God.

·      It is made alive and energized by God,s  spirit  at salvation when we are filled by Holy Spirit.

“Its function are”:

·      Revelation from God, Prayer, Communication.

·      It Worship/witness to God.

·      Conscience, imagination, fellowship, discernment, curiosity and understanding.

·      Our spirit is a Reception area of gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit

4               Our Soul

·      It is aware of / conscience of himself and called personality. “The function of soul are”.

Mind:  Ability to reason and understand.

Emotion and Feeling: Affected by our thinking.

       Will:  ability to take decision.

    5.     Our body (made of flesh and blood) and its functions are:

Receive Information from the world by way of the senses i.e. through (eyes, ears and touch).

Reaction: It reacts through muscle system by words and reaction.

Expression:  The body can express to the world, through thoughts, feeling and actions of the soul.

6.   Spirit , soul and Body and how they relates

       Our Soul and Body.

Our body receive information by way of physical senses i.e. (through seeing with our eyes, by hearing with ears and smelling with our nose).

Our soul interpret, judge and understand what we receive and to do so we rely upon our reason and memory.

How we think and feel about the situation will determine what action we will take. In other word our will will comes into place.

We do/say something with our physical body. ( So our soul and body works together)

7.    Spirit, soul and Body and how they relates.

       Our Spirit and Soul:

The spirit man is not fully functional because of sin before being born again (Born of Hoy Spirit).

When man repents and receive Christ as his savior, his spirit begins to respond and interact with God’s spirit.

By being baptized with in the Holy Spirit we receive the spiritual power and can live new life received in Christ. Our soul works with our spirit upwardly.

8.    Holy Spirit and our Soul.

·      1 Corinth 2:14 natural (soulish) man cannot understand the things of the God).

It is God’s purpose that all the functions of the man’s soul should come under Lordship of the Holy Spirit.

The fruits, gifts and grace given by the Holy Spirit enable the new born person (spirit and soul) to grow in the Christ, start obeying God and His word.

If we grieve the Holy Spirit by natural, soulish way of living then we hold back the flow of God in our life. We fall back our old way of life i.e. (soulish –sensual way of life).

9.   RESULT OF WALKING IN FLESH MEANS WALKING

INDEPENDENLY OF GOD AND VICE VERSA.

JON  6:63- It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profited nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

ROM 8:5 - For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

ROM 8:6 - For to be carnally i.e. (soul and body working independently) minded is death; but to be spiritually minded i.e. (soul and spirit working with Holy Spirit)  is life and peace.

ROM 8:7 - Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

ROM 8:8 - So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

JON   7:18 -PUAL SAYS NOTHING GOOD IN ME.

PHIL.  3:3 - For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

ROM 8:13- For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

10 WHAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS ABOUT FLESH / GOD

       ANSWER TO THE FLESH

GAL. 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

GAL. 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

  11. PUT ON THE NEW LIFE.

ROM. 13:14    CLOTH YOURSELF WITH CHRIST

(PUT ON LORD JESUS CHRIST AND

MAKE NO PROVISION FOR THE FLESH

                               TO FULFILL THE LUST THEROF)

COLOSS.3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

”AS WE ARE AWARE OF RESULT OF WALKING IN FLESH

   AND THE FRUIT OF IT”.

GAL 5: 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21  Envying, murders, drunkenness, raveling’s, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

“RESULTING OF WALKING FLESH” THOSE WHO WALK IN FLESH WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

12. PUT ON THE NEW LIFE

GAL. 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

ROM.6:11- 13 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

ROM. 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

13. LET US PUT ON NEW LIFE

MATHEW 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

MATHEW 16:24-25 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

JOHN 12: 24-26 Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

14. MADE NEW SO WALK IN IT

ROM. 12:1, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

MATHEW 17:2> And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

MARK 9:2> And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

2ND CORINTH.3:18 – But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

ROM.12.2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God

    15. LET US LIVE AS HE LIVED

·         Keep your soul humble before Him.

Jesus Himself is the example of it

He denied Himself in order to obey the will of father.

Phil 2:5  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ

     Jesus

Christ----Who being in very nature God did not consider equality with God (something to be grasped) but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
