Jesus our great intercessor !

 Our Great Intercessor

================≠==

‘But Moses sought the favour of the Lord, his God. “Oh Lord,” he said, “why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great favour and a mighty hand?”‘ (Exodus 32:11)

Favoured child of God, do you know that Jesus is constantly interceding for you?

Sitted at the right hand of our Heavenly Father, He’s always praying for you, blessing you, and loving you.

Do you remember the story of Mosses and the Israelites?

Whilst God was giving Moses the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai, the Israelites revelled in atrocities under the leadership of Aaron below.

In their impatience, they had made for themselves a golden statue, bowed down to worship it and then claimed it was the god who had delivered them from slavery to the Egyptians. In effect, they turned their backs on our Father.

But Moses interceded. He remembered God’s true nature and prayed for Him to be merciful.

And God listened.

Although the Israelites deserved His anger, God was willing to forgive and restore them to Himself.

Moses plays an integral part in this narrative. He was the intercessor who stood in the gap that separated the Israelites from their God. A gap broadened by sin.

Imagine, if the intercession of Mosses was so effective, how much more when Jesus intercedes for us?

James 5:16 says that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

If God listened to Mosses prayer, how much more will He listen to the perfectly righteous Jesus Christ?

And in that, we’ve found favour with God. Not because we’re gifted, powerful or perfect.

Rather, it’s because of the perfect sacrifice and intercession of our Lord Jesus.

So whenever you feel weak, defeated, or that your prayers don’t seem to be effective, remember, Jesus is interceding for you Himself, and His prayers are surely effective.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Prayer:

Father, thank you for sending Jesus to intercede for me.For it’s only through His finished work that I can even stand in your Holy presence.Lord, draw me close to your heart and teach me your ways.

Help me to keep in mind that Jesus is always praying for me.Whatever I need, whatever I’m afraid of, whatever I’m worried about, I know that Jesus is already praying on my behalf. And if Jesus Himself prays for me, I can surely trust in Him.Bless your Name Lord. I’m truly honoured to be your child and have Jesus as my personal Intercessor.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Trust In God's Timing !

 Trust In God’s Timing

=================

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)Beloved, God has promised to make all things beautiful in its time.Trust in Him and let Him unfold the pleasant surprises He has prepared for you. He’s the one who sets the stars and planets in their precise orbits. He’s the one who times the tides and the waves. He’s the one who hears every beat of your heart. No detail escapes His care.So trust in His timing. Do not worry about when this will happen or when that will happen.Did He not send Jesus to earth at the perfect time to fulfil His promise?

If we can trust His timing with regards to our eternal life, why wouldn’t we be able to also trust His timing with our daily lives? So be rooted in His love today. Have faith in His strength and trust in His timing. For God has set eternity in your heart. All of time, from the beginning to the end, exists within you through Jesus Christ. In reality, all that you need has already been given to you. All of the promises of God have already been gifted to you.All you need to do is to believe. Let your heart dwell in the Kingdom of Heaven where all of God’s promises have already been fulfilled.Trust in God’s timing, and you’ll surely see the wonders of God’s hand unfold naturally in your life.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Prayer:

Father, I know that I can be impatient at times.Even though I know that you’ll make everything beautiful in its time, my flesh still tends to worry when I can’t physically see the progress that I expect. But Lord, I know that no matter what the appearances are, the truth is that you’re working behind the scenes on my behalf.

Teach me to trust in your timing Lord. Let my heart be still and sensitive to your promptings. For there’s no need to rush, worry, or fear, when I know that you are with me.Guiding me. Protecting me. Loving me.Thank you Lord. May all glory be to you.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Bless the Lord O my Soul!

Bless the Lord o my Soul!

====================

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s”. Psalm 103:1-5

How do we handle it when, after having received healing from the Lord, the enemy tries to knock us down with the same symptoms and whispers in our ear, “God didn’t heal you. Look at you. You are still sick”?

That is a lie! We can’t listen to that kind of talk. Our response should always be:” WHAT DOES THE WORD SAY?”

“By His stripes we were healed” 1 Peter 2:24. PERIOD.

Here’s the question I once heard a minister say that we must ask: “WHO told you? WHO told you are…sick? WHO told you you’ll never measure up? WHO told you? A friend, a teacher, a parent? So what! What is God telling you?”

As always, we must turn to the Word and speak what Jesus speaks over us.

Prayer:

“Lord, thank You for Your Word which always stands true. May we always listen to the Word rather than any other voice. Correct us when we are listening to anything other than Your Word.”

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Final Thought:

We are healed by the stripes that Jesus took on His back. He forgives all our sin and heals all our diseases. (Psalm 103:3) That’s the Word. Jesus is the Word. We must believe what HE says.

This day let us make the decision to speak and believe what God says about us in His Word and not listen to the lies of the enemy. Hallelujah, Jesus is Lord of all!

Be Greatly Blessed!

Wherever You Go

 Wherever You Go

==============

‘Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go’ Joshua 1:9 (NIV).

There comes different times in life when you must do something new. Perhaps you are excited to give it a try, or perhaps you have reservations. No matter what you’ve set out to do however, the Lord is by your side.

What new things have come up in life? Many of us start new jobs, or move to new places. Many have new relationships or relationships reaching an end. So many different things can happen during these times that it can be overwhelming. If you are finding yourself a little lost, it’s quite natural to hesitate. That means you care about the situation! Once you’ve thought it over, don’t second guess yourself! The Lord will give you strength to get you through anything.

Maybe you’ve been working towards something for a while and now just need some reassurance. The Lord provides strength during these times as well! You certainly don’t need to have a dramatic event going on in your life. Isn’t that good to know?

Call to the Lord during any of these times. Psalm 145:18-19 says “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.’ The Lord will provide your strength. He awaits your call to provide courage. A prayer for those looking for strength and courage now:

Prayer:

“Lord, give me strength during periods of change. I am in one of these times now and look to you for support. I need courage to meet my challenges with determination. Thank you for providing me with enough to meet any challenge!”

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Final Thoughts:

Whatever you may be facing and wherever you go the Lord is awaiting your call. You will find strength and courage in his love. Call to him today and he is sure to answer your prayers.

Be Greatly Blessed!

A Giving Heart

 A Giving Heart

============

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV).

How do you give in your life today? There are so many different ways we can show care through giving. It does not have to be a gift of monetary compensation (although often it is). We can donate time to a worthy cause, or our expertise to a group in need. When you do these things, how do you feel?

It is important that we give with an open heart. A heart that does not have other motives outside of spreading joy and happiness. We need to be sure that our own hearts are willing as well. We shouldn’t feel the need to give more than we can be reasonably expected to!

If our hearts are not fully in our gift others are likely to see it. Even if they don’t we could ultimately do more harm than good for our own sake. Give not out of impulse or you may find regret later. But what other traps can we fall in to?

We must not give with the expectation of receiving something in return. Have you ever been gifted something and then immediately asked to return a favor? How did that feel? We don’t want to feel pressured to even scores or settle debts, so don’t look to put someone else in that position! While we likely returned the favor (and others would too) we don’t want to set that sort of standard.

Prayer:

“Lord, help me to be a more giving person. When I do give, Lord, please help me to be sure that the gifts I am giving are proper and fitting. Help me not to be reluctant in my choices, and help me not to impulsively give. Help me to give with a cheerful heart that expects nothing in return”.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Final Thoughts:

There are so many ways in which we can positively impact others with gifts. Work to ensure your heart is in the right place and joy is sure to follow. If there are programs or people you support now, think. Are you supporting them from a cheerful heart? Are there any changes you see fit?

Be Greatly Blessed!

'I shall Never Forshake You"

 “I’ll Never Forsake You”

…for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.” So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6

Sometimes, when we’re facing difficult circumstances in our lives, it can feel as if God is really distant. Maybe you’ve tried praying till your face is blue, and yet you’re not even sure whether God really hears you.

Well beloved, I have good news for you. God has promised to be your ever present help. Your refuge and strength in times of trouble. He’s promised that nothing in Heaven or Earth will ever be able to separate you from His love.

The Truth is, God is always with us, even at times when we’re not conscious of it. In fact, do you know that you are the temple of God? This means that God’s very spirit is dwelling in you – at this very moment. He’s closer to you than your own breath!

He’s eveready to bless you, protect you, guide you, and prosper you.

So take a moment. Close your eyes. Breathe. Think of the Presence of God in you, through you, and around you. Feel His love enveloping you. His strength guarding you. His blessings pouring over you.

Imagine what it’d be like to live in His wonderful Presence 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!

For it is true! His presence is always with you. While the Israelites had a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire to guide them, you have something even better! Through Jesus’ work, you are now the very tabernacle of God.

So go about the rest of your day in the knowledge that your almighty God is leading you, helping you, protecting you, and loving you, every step of the way.

Be Greatly Blessed!

God keep all His promises

 God Keeps All His Promises

≠=====≠===============

“What’s more, I am with you, and I will protect you wherever you go. One day I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have finished giving you everything I have promised you.” (Genesis 28:15)

Beloved, what a blessing it is to have God as our personal guardian!

He’s promised to protect us wherever we go and give us all the good things He’s promised in His Word.

He goes before us to prepare the path and clear off our enemies.

He protects us from the back to prevent any unforeseen attacks.

Whatever the enemy has planned, He is always many steps ahead.

Even when Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery, God used it to raise him to the highest office in Egypt.

Even when the Roman soldiers nailed Jesus to the Cross, God used it to redeem us.

For truly nothing can disrupt God’s plan for you. His plan to prosper you will continue to be in motion until He’s finished giving you everything He has promised you.

You no longer need to worry about anything, for God Has promised to supply everything you need according to His riches in Glory.

And unlike some people on earth who break their promises, God is incapable of lying and His Word never returns to Him void.

So rest in His protection and supply today.

Be comforted by the many promises and blessings of God.

He’ll lead you out of captivity, into a land flowing with milk and honey.

Go ahead! Drink from wells you did not dig. Eat from vineyards you did not build.

For God has given you rest, abundance, health, peace, and every other good thing – exceeding abundantly, above and beyond anything you can ever ask or think.

All because of what Jesus has done.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Action Steps:

Remember God’s promises today. Whatever you need, whatever you seek, God has already provided them for you through Christ Jesus.

Trust in God’s Word. Do not be deceived by the illusions of the world.

For faith is the substance of things hoped for. Believe in God’s promises, and you shall see them come to pass in your life.

Let’s pray…

Prayer:

Father, thank you for all the promises you’ve given me.

What an assurance it is to know that you’re always with me.

No matter what I do, no matter where I go, you’ll never leave me nor forsake me.

For, you always keep your promises.

You Word never returns to you void.

May your favour be upon me wherever my foot treads.

May all that I do greatly glorify your Name.

For truly, you’re worthy of the praise of a thousand tribes.

So bless me and keep me today Lord, as I keep your promises in my heart.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!
