God Has A Plan For You

 God Has A Plan For You

==================

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Beloved, awaken today and enter into the path God has prepared before you.

He has laid out plans to prosper you today in all areas of your life.

Know that He has a blueprint for your life. A blueprint that removes strife and struggle.

But you are the one who has to choose to walk down that path.

All that God creates is good and He’ll never make any plans in vain.

Even curses can turn into blessings when you follow His Word.

Sure, storms may come to try and throw you off balance, but when you’re firmly rooted in the Word of God, nothing will be able to move you.

So meditate on His Word today. Find out what plans He has prepared for you.

For when you truly know the depth, width, and abundance of God’s promises, you’ll then be able to consciously claim them for yourself, and see them as they manifest in your life.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Action Steps:

Remeber God’s promises today. His Word clearly shows the plans He has for your life.

He wants you to choose life over death, blessings over curses.

Know that His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and His ways are higher than our ways.

We can plan and scheme all we want, but it’s only when we trust God and follow the path He’s laid out for us that we’ll be able to experience the fullness of His salvation.

So stop struggling, and follow His lead.

Prayer:

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for another new and beautiful day.

I look at the morning sky and am amazed that the same God who created such wonder is the same God who has made specific plans for me. Me. One out of billions of people. And yet you’ve taken care of every single detail in my life.

I can’t even begin to fathom how deep your love for me must be.

So Lord, today I rest my plans in your hands.

Not by my hands, not by my might, neither by my wit, but in and through Jesus Christ, I’ll win the day.I commit myself to your plans and walk in the path you’ve prepared for me today.

In Jesus’ mighty Name.

AMEN!

Lukewarm ways

 Lukewarm Ways

==============

‘Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be zealous and repent.’ Revelation 3:19 (ESV)

We’re called to be on fire for God, to be passionate followers of Christ, and to intentional in how we live for Him. But it’s not always easy. Our faith can be pushed to the background, we can lose our motivation to seek God and we can become weighted down by things we have to face in life.

Seven churches are mentioned at the beginning of Revelation, the seventh being Laodicea. This church was told, ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold or hot. I wish you were either one or the other!’ (Revelation 3:15).

God doesn’t us to be lukewarm when it comes to our faith. He wants us to have zeal for Him. Zeal is enthusiasm, dedication or passion for something. In Revelation 3:19 the people were told to be zealous and repent.

And that’s exactly what we need to do too. We need to find our passion for God again. We need to get excited about Him again. God should be our top priority, the first thing we think of in the morning and the last thing before we retire at night. He should be the One we are living for. We need to repent of our lukewarm ways.

Prayers

======

‘Lord, increase my passion for you. Forgive me for my lukewarm ways. I want to be found earnestly seeking you with a zeal and passion that keeps me close to you.’

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Final Thoughts:

===========

The Bible says to be, ‘never lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord (Romans 12:11). So how do we make sure we’re never lacking in zeal? We need to honestly look at what’s the priority in our lives.

Furthermore, we need to surround ourselves with people who are on fire for God. We need to make time to spend with God and be closer to Him. And ask Him to increase our passion. So today, let’s take the advice given to the church in Laodicea: be zealous and repent.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Be strong and courageous

 Be Strong And Courageous.

=======================

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

Favored child of God, be of good courage today for the Lord is with you.Do not be afraid of challenges that come your way. Do not be discouraged by obstacles that block your path.As long as God is with you, you can be sure that everything will turn out well.For He has blessed you with a blessing that cannot be reversed.

Do not look to your past failures, disappointments, or limitations. You are destined for greatness and through the spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ, you have been empowered to become an overflowing blessing for the world.

So boldly stay on the path of faith. Do not let the shadow of death worry you. You have already been freed from death. Let the light of God chase away the darkness.

As you see more and more clearly who God is and how much He loves you, your courage will naturally grow.

Be Greatly Blessed.

Action Steps:

Courage comes from knowing that God is with you, and that He’ll definitely come through for you.When David faced off with Goliath, knew that God will bring him victory.When Daniel was thrown into the den of lions, he knew that God would keep him safe.When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego went into the furnace, they knew that God would deliver them.

They were courageous not because they had faith in their own abilities, but because they knew God intimately.

They knew His power, His love, His trustworthiness, His steadfastness.

Learn more about the attributes of God. Trust Him more and more each day with increasingly important things in your life.

And as you see Him coming through for you, your faith and courage will naturally grow.

Let’s pray…

Prayer:

Father, thank you for always being with me, even when I may not be conscious of it.You are my source of courage Lord. For without you, I’m nothing.But with you by my side, I know that victory will always be mine.Help me to look to you, instead of my own abilities or failures.Help me to see your Hand in my life more and more clearly.Teach me to trust you with the important decisions of my life.I want to have a real, intimate, relationship with you.Not one that’s just theoretical.

I will go boldly into the world in your Name because I know that you’ll always come through for me..

Bless your name Lord. May all the power and glory be to you.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Begin a relationship with God today!

 Let the light in—begin a relationship with God today.

"There is one God" who rules over all the universe. God is a Spirit; He is all powerful and loving and kind. "God is love"—and God loves you and wants you to be His child!

We’ve thought and done things that fall short of God’s perfect plan for us. Our sin could separate us from God for all eternity, but our loving Father always had a plan in mind to rescue us from the death we deserve. “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

God sent Jesus into the world so that our sins could be forgiven. He lived a perfect life—healing people, loving them, and teaching them about God. He was put to death like a common criminal on a cross. When He died, He willingly took the sins of the world—yours and mine—and paid the penalty in our place. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but would have everlasting life."

On the third day, Jesus rose from the grave, displaying to the whole world that He has the power to give all of us everlasting life in Heaven with Him.

To receive God’s free gift of love, we must receive His Son Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. You can ask God to forgive your sins and help you to start a new life in Him today.

Pray this prayer now to ask Jesus into your life…

Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God who died to pay the penalty for my sins. I open the door of my heart and ask You to be my Savior and Lord. I ask Your forgiveness for all my sins. Please forgive my sins and help me to live for You.

Did you pray this prayer and ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior?

Yes!

Practice His Presence

 Practising His Presence

==================

‘Where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence?’ (Psalm 139:7).What assurance we have knowing that God is always with us.Through the perfect work of our Lord Jesus Christ, there’s nothing that can ever remove us from God’s loving presence.There’s nothing you can do, nowhere you can go, where God’s grace is not readily available to help you.Yet, we sometimes fail to realize what a great gift we have.We get so buried in our daily affairs that we sometimes neglect His presences.

Take some time today to acknowledge Him again.It may seem repetitive at times, but that’s usually due to our restless flesh wanting to scurry about again.

Rest awhile. Enjoy His presence. Pay attention to His quiet promptings.

Take a little time to be still in God’s loving presence. Feel His embrace. Hear His sweet promises to you.

Let His presence go before you.You’ll find that the day seems easier and the path feels smoother.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Prayer:

Father, thank you for always being with me.Help me to become more aware of your wonderful presence all around me.

Open my eyes to pay attention and acknowledge you here with me in all I have to do today.I want to live in the gift of each moment with you.Bless you Lord. I love you.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Additional Thoughts:

God is not elsewhere. He is with us in every moment and every place. There is nowhere we can go from His presence.

However, we may not always be aware of His presence. We become so preoccupied with our own activities and so overwhelmed by the happenings and pace of our lives that we cease to pay attention to His movements. We need to wake up to the God whose presence is closer than our next breath.Practising God’s presence is a way of living in a deeper awareness of His activity in our lives. This is a holy habit that many of us neglect.But through many small pauses, we can begin a habit of turning our heart towards God. Through these simple acts of paying attention, we express our desire to live constantly in union with Him.

When we are cooking, cleaning, driving, before answering the phone, hanging washing, whatever the task we are engaged in, we can quietly say, ‘Here I am Lord in your presence, help me listen deep inside to you.’Practising His presence means we acknowledge the sovereignty of God and His intimate involvement in our lives.However, practising His presence is more about personal relationship than strategy. It is simply a way we love God and acknowledge He is with us in all the many parts of our day.The more we love our Saviour, the more we will want to stop and thank Him for being with us. Until our daily living is one entire holy communion with Christ. It is a continuous conversation of prayer and praise.

How aware are we of the possibility of meeting God throughout the day?

What then would it be like for us to intentionally seek deeper intimacy with Him?.Imagine being able to smoothly and easily bring ourselves back into the presence of God so that alarming news, a sudden event, a conflict or a heated discussion would not cause any inner turmoil.These interruptions would be invitations to say, ‘I am here Lord, help me.’Or we could form our own prayer that helps us enter His presence and pay attention to the God who is always with us.   Pay attention to His presence. Feel His embrace. And revel in His love.

Awasome presence of God

 The Awesome Presence Of God

==========================

But they that wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

Don’t you just love the wonderful presence of God?.

Within it is your source of salvation, healing, provision, and every other good thing.The Bible says that when you wait on the LORD, you’ll have your strength renewed.

Do you feel exhausted at times? Tired both mentally and physically?

Well it’s time to stop your struggling and dwell instead in the refreshing presence of God.   Pass your burdens to Him, for He will renew your strength. He’ll empower you to achieve all the goals He has set out for you.But the key here, is to wait on the LORD, to constantly dwell in His presence.

Do you realize that the Israelites never lost a battle whenever God was with them? Or that no one who has approached Jesus for healing ever went away sick?

For there’s great power in the presence of God. No evil, no curse, no problem, can ever survive the glory of our Lord.As light chases away darkness, so must evil flee before the presence of God.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Action Steps:

Make it a priority to dwell in the presence of God today.

Meditate on His Word, pray to Him, praise Him, worship Him – whatever it takes to keep yourself conscious of His presence.

You’ll find that your burden inevitably becomes lighter. That your problems seem smaller. And that blessings and favor seem to follow you wherever you go.

For it’s in His presence that we find the fullness of joy.

Let’s pray…

Prayer:

Father, once again I come into your presence.I’m humbled and in awe of your power and glory.Renew my strength today Lord. For I am weak, but you are strong.Your Word says that I’ll run and not be weary, walk and not faint.Help me to stay strong on the path of faith.Help me to stay conscious of your presence throughout the day.Help me to become more and more aware of the fullness of your love, blessings, and promises.

Glory be to you Lord. May I experience the fullness of your joy today.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Faith Not Fear

 Faith Not Fear

===========

‘Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.’ Proverbs 29:25 (NIV).

Fear and intimidation is a trap that holds us back; however, when we place our confidence in God we will be held securely. We ought to pour all of our energy into trusting God. Only as we trust Him will we stay immersed in His presence, unshaken and unmoved by what is happening around us.

Every step on our life-journey can be a step of faith. Small steps of trust are simple for us, we can take them with almost unconscious ease. Larger steps are another matter altogether; leaping across dark chasms of fear, scaling cliffs of uncertainty, trudging through the valley of the shadow of death. These feats require sheer concentration, as well as total trust in the God who remains close and never leaves our side (Psalm 23:4).

Each of us is a unique blend of temperament, giftedness and life experiences. What is a small step for one person, may be a giant step for another and vice versa. Only God knows the ease or the difficulty of each segment of our journey.

Prayer:

‘Lord, help me to trust in you alone. You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound, disciplined mind. Help me to recall this promise when I encounter situations that stir up fear inside. I want to live with a strong unshakable faith in you. Amen.’

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Final Thoughts:

Beware of trying to impress others by acting as if our giant steps were only small ones. Do not judge others who hesitate in trembling fear before an act that would be easy for us.

If each of God’s people would seek to please Him above all else, fear of other’s judgments would disappear, as would attempts to please others. Let’s focus our attention on the path just ahead of us and on the One who never leaves our side.

Be Greatly Blessed!
