Devil does not want to know you

30 Bible verses the devil doesn’t want you to know about.”

The devil doesn’t want us to know the truth about him

“Resist the devil and he will flee from you!” James 4:7.

“And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.” Romans 16:20.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10.

“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ‘Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.’” Revelation 12:11.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” 1 Peter 5:8-9.

“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4.

“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8.

Satan doesn’t want us to know that we have nothing to fear

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10.

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7.

He doesn’t want us to know about the power we have access to

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31.

“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me … For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13.

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13.

The devil doesn’t want us to know the promises that we have in Christ

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.

“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13-14.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:1-4.

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20.

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8.

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:12.

“But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” James 1:22.

He doesn’t want us to know that we have to reap what we sow

If we have committed ourselves to God’s service, we will notice the devil raging, but we can be bold to fight back, because we have the promise of victory – every time! The result will be confidence, rest and peace in our spirit, fruit of the Spirit will become manifest in our life, and we will gain eternal life!

What The Bible is?

Knowing God through The Bible

The man and satan

Lord God is a living God

 Deuteronomy 4:15-20,24-26

Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:

[16]कहीं ऐसा न हो कि तुम बिगड़कर चाहे पुरूष चाहे स्त्री के,

Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,

The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:

[19]वा जब तुम आकाश की ओर आंखे उठा कर, सूर्य, चंद्रमा, और तारों को, अर्थात आकाश का सारा तारागण देखो, तब बहककर उन्हें दण्डवत करके उनकी सेवा करने लगो जिन को तुम्हारे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने धरती पर के सब देश वालों के लिये रखा है।

And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.

For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:

[26]तो मैं आज आकाश और पृथ्वी को तुम्हारे विरुद्ध साक्षी करके कहता हूं, कि जिस देश के अधिकारी होने के लिये तुम यरदन पार जाने पर हो उस में तुम जल्दी बिल्कुल नाश हो जाओगे; और बहुत दिन रहने न पाओगे, किन्तु पूरी रीति से नष्ट हो जाओगे।

I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.

Rest in His security

 Rest In Security

“But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me” Micah 7:7

Do you have thoughts about the future that worry you today? Are you waiting to hear back from someone where news could be either good or bad? Is there something in your life that you need to “wait out and see” how it turns out? These types of situations can be frustrating and also anxiety inducing.

In these times your thoughts can revolve around the problems you face. They can consume your time and energy as they race through your mind. But these are exactly the times in which we need to look toward the Lord for guidance. What else does the bible say about facing future problems?

Job 11:18 says “And you will feel secure, because there is hope; you will look around and take your rest in security.” In His love there is hope, and in His love there is safety. Fear not for tomorrow, for tomorrow brings many opportunities. Speak to the Lord about what troubles you about the future. Through His love anything is possible!

Prayer:

“Lord, there are things in my life that worry me about the future. I open my heart to you. Please show me what I can do to better prepare myself for the future. I know that through Your love I need not fear about these troubles. Thank you, Lord for giving me hope in the darkness.”

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Final Thoughts:

If you find that thoughts about the future give you anxiety today, look toward your Lord. Pray to him in these times. Pray to him as often and as long as you need! There is certainly no time limit that the Lord imposes.

If you have someone in your life that would benefit from hearing these words, please help spread the love of the Lord!

Be Greatly Blessed!

Faith and Action Working Together

 Faith and Action Working Together

====≠===========================

‘Fearing that we would be dashed against the rocks, they dropped four anchors from the stern and prayed for daylight.’ Acts 27:29 (NIV)

A fortnight into a trip across the Adriatic Sea, Paul and his travelers found themselves caught in a violent storm. In the midnight hour, as they approached land, the sailors feared they would be dashed against a rocky coast, so they dropped four anchors from the stern to halt the runaway ship and prayed to their gods.

However, Paul alone was praying to the One God who could do anything about their situation.

His actions are a good reminder to us to rely on God rather than our own wisdom or skills. However, we don’t do nothing in the midst of trouble either. There is always an action to take just as there are always prayers to pray. Faith and action must be working together. We must do all that we can to fix the problem and then trust God to do His part.

Paul commended the young Christians in Thessalonica for their ‘work produced by faith’ (1 Thessalonians 1:3). He told the church in Galatia, ‘the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love’ (Galatians 5:6).

James said that ‘faith by itself, without works, is dead’ (James 2:17) and Hebrews 11 offers a lengthy list of saints who combined their faith in God with loving actions and deeds.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, forgive me for taking control and leaving you out of the issues that I face in life. Help me to do what I can and know that as I commit situations to you, you will do what you will. Thank you.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN

Additional Thoughts:

There is only one response to the problems that confront us in this life: faith and action working simultaneously as we do our best and wait for the best from God.

Where do we find ourselves just now?

In our trouble there is always a wise and gentle response awaiting from both ourselves and from God. It is tempting to rush in a try to fix our problems completely forgetting that God is waiting to respond also. He sees the issue at hand far more clearly than ourselves and knows the best solution.

We do what we can, but He will do what He wills.

And it will always be good.
